Key Technology of LTE/5G Dual Connectivity

[Abstract] LTE/5G dual connectivity is the key technology to implement the integrated network of LTE and 5G and flexible deployment scenario for operators. The protocol framework and deployment scenario defined by 3GPP under different LTE/5G dual connectivity modes were elaborated. The key technology to implement LTE/5G dual connectivity was expounded. The data routing and flow control at separate bearing PDCP layer of LTE/5G dual connectivity were discussed. Finally, a reliable algorithm of data routing and flow control was proposed.
